It’s National Coming Out Day in the USA!
Celebrities can often seem like other-world entities, so detached from the real world that we can forget that they’re just like us.
However, celebrities are just like us. After all, they are human, despite what we might read in the tabloids. They face the same daily dilemmas many of us have to cope with—including the big ones like coming out. October 11th is National Coming Out Day in the USA. To celebrate we’ve picked our fave 5 big-name celebs that have come out to the world:
Adam Lambert
Former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert confirmed that he was gay on an American news show following leaked pictures of the singer allegedly kissing his then-boyfriend. Since then, the star has gone on to become an LGBT advocate and social activist. Watch his coming out video here.
